🔥 Bourbon Hot Honey Glazed Wings

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (split, drums and flats)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Glaze:


🔥 Instructions

  1. Prep the Wings:

    • Preheat oven to 400°F (or smoker to 250°F if you’re going low & slow).

    • Pat wings dry. Toss with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  2. Cook the Wings:

    • Oven: Place on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Bake 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.

    • Smoker: Smoke at 250°F for 1.5–2 hours, then crank heat or finish in oven to crisp.

  3. Make the Glaze:

    • In a small saucepan, combine hot honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and bourbon.

    • Simmer 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Stir in butter.

  4. Toss & Serve:

    • Toss wings in glaze until coated.

    • Serve immediately, with extra drizzle of hot honey for that sticky shine.
